With Pinnacle Towers, the building that would have been the tallest structure in Africa a non-starter, the 44-storey 88 Nairobi Condominium is set to be the tallest residential skyscraper in Kenya.

Developed by Lordship Africa, 88 Nairobi is a state-of-the-art residence comprising nearly 300 units in different configurations – studio, 1 and 2 bedroom fully furnished executive apartments, 2 bedroom executive-plus apartments and penthouses.  In addition, the building will have world-class amenities including lounge, pool, spa, helipad and valet services. Residents will use ECHO or GOOGLE HOME to control their music, lights, call reception and order their cars from valet.

The development is located at Upper Hill, adjacent to Bishop Road and Fourth Ngong Avenue. Upperhill is now considered one of the prime areas of Nairobi with multiple blue chip companies having moved their offices to this location away from vehicular and human traffic congestion in the CBD and other areas of the capital.

After initial delays occasioned by architectural redesign and Covid-19 set-backs, the project is now on course and is expected to be complete in 2023.

Speaking to the media earlier in the year, Lordship Africa Chairman Jonathan Jackson expressed optimism on the uptake of the units despite the real estate bubble burst. Already, dozens of units have been booked by eager investors and home owners.
