The Purple Tower Makes Significant Progress

The Purple Tower, a Ksh 2.5 billion Grade A commercial development in Nairobi, has made steady progress, with the shell essentially complete.

The 14-floor building sits on 1.15 acres on Mombasa Road and targets industry stakeholders including investors and tenants.

“Purple Tower presents a timely and strategic proposition for both local and regional investors in the Kenyan property market,” said Jiten Kerai, General Manager of Purple Dot International, the developer.

The first three floors are reserved as showrooms or retail spaces with a restaurant while the others will be office spaces.  The building is equipped with office and conference facilities, parking, and food and beverage space.

The Purple Tower has already been recognized internationally, winning in Best Commercial High-Rise Development and Best Commercial High-Rise Architecture in Kenya categories at The Africa & Arabia Property Awards in 2022.

The building’s design achieved EDGE sustainability requirements, a benchmark initiated by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector lending wing of the World Bank, to encourage the design and construction of sustainable, resource-efficient buildings in emerging markets.
