Nairobi will host the BIM Africa Summit (BAS) 2025 on October 16–17 at the Chandaria Auditorium, University of Nairobi Towers. The summit is expected to draw professionals and leaders from the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO) industry across more than ten African countries.
The event will focus on digital technologies transforming the continent’s construction sector, including artificial intelligence, laser scanning, 3D printing, robotics, digital twinning, building information modelling (BIM), smart cities, and the Internet of Things. Participants will also explore emerging software and hardware tools designed to enhance collaboration in the built environment.
The two-day summit will feature more than 30 speakers and 25 workshops, offering opportunities for knowledge sharing, networking, and discussions on strategies for advancing sustainable construction in Africa. It will conclude with the Innovation Awards 2025 Dinner, which will recognize outstanding contributions by individuals and organizations driving digital transformation in the built environment sector.
