Nairobi is currently the focal point of the global construction industry as the 26th edition of BUILDEXPO Kenya moves into its second day at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC). The three-day event, running from July 16 to 18, has attracted participants from more than 43 countries, reaffirming its status as East Africa’s largest international trade exhibition for the building and construction sector.

This year’s expo spans a wide range of industries under one roof, including construction, mining, lighting, woodworking, and water technologies. Attendees are exploring the latest innovations and sustainable solutions set to shape the future of infrastructure development in the region.

Organisers have described the 2025 edition as “bigger and more impactful than ever,” with strong interest from both regional and international stakeholders.

“BUILDEXPO continues to be a global hub for industry leaders, innovators, and professionals looking to connect, explore opportunities, and drive progress in East Africa’s rapidly growing infrastructure and construction sectors,” they said in a statement.
