Contractors’ Convention and Expo Opens in Nairobi

The Kenya Association of Building and Civil Engineering Contractors (KABCEC) convention and expo kicked off yesterday at the Sarit Centre in Nairobi.

The theme of the two-day event is Building Stability in Construction. Discussions include how to adapt to New Best Practices in Construction. A number of key industry players are speaking at the event that will also include corporate presentations and exhibitions by various organizations. Crown Paints are the main sponsors.

Some of the presentations are Construction Site Management, BoQs for Small and Medium Size Contractors, Precast Flooring Slab & Post-Tensioning as well as Basic Electrical Engineering Knowledge.

Attendees are to earn CPD points.

KABCEC is an association that brings together building and civil engineering contractors in the country to advance their interests.
