A major new development is set to change the skyline of Nairobi’s Westlands suburb. 1870 West, a 30-storey high-end residential tower by Hass Consult, is currently under construction at the intersection of Lower Kabete and Peponi Road, near the Sarit Centre.
The mixed-use property will feature 29 floors of apartments, with a 30th floor dedicated to communal amenities. The development will offer a variety of apartment sizes, including 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units, all designed with modern interiors and high-end finishes. Each apartment will include well-planned layouts with kitchens, home office spaces, and ensuite bathrooms, along with expansive views of the surrounding area.
The design of the building will emphasize neutral color tones and open-plan layouts, with curvilinear balconies enhancing the connection to the outdoors. Residents of 1870 West will have access to a wide range of amenities on the 30th floor, including swimming pools, lounges, workspaces, fitness areas, and audio-visual facilities.
The development is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025. Westlands, one of Nairobi’s most rapidly growing areas, continues to attract major developments, with multiple projects underway that promise to further transform the landscape of the affluent suburb.
