Property Developer Purple Dot International recently funded the completion of a 14-bed Level 3 Hospital at Kyumbi, Machakos County.

The hospital includes a Mother-and-Child Unit, laboratory, X-ray room, special clinics, outpatient unit, and nursing station, all fully equipped.

The intervention by Purple Dot International is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility as an investor in Machakos County. Among the company’s developments is the ultramodern Serene Park gated residential community located just after the Machakos turn-off on Mombasa Road.

Commissioning the new facility in the presence of senior management of Purple Dot International, Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti expressed her gratitude to the donor. She noted that the new hospital, together with the Community Health Promoter programme launched earlier, would bring health services closer to the people.

She hailed the successful partnership between her government and the developer, urging everyone to embrace the remarkable achievement and work together to ensure that Kyumbi Level 3 Community Hospital stands as a testimony to what such partnerships can produce.
