Kenya will host the 18th World Council of Civil Engineers (WCCE) General Assembly, represented locally by Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK), between 14th and 17th November 2023 in Mombasa.
The WCCE General Assembly will run concurrently with IEK’s annual convention.
The theme of the assembly is ‘Engineering a New World. In a message, WCCE President Jorge Emilio Abramian thanked the IEK for its “committed participation to the Assembly” since joining the body and accepting to host the Assembly alongside its annual 30th annual convention.
“WCCE’s mission is to improve living conditions for all mankind through civil engineering, a mission that matches with the theme of this year’s convention,” he said.
